Description:
The selected Accountant, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE on single status, is responsible for the overall financial operations of business, as well as aspects of the legal, human resources, and corporate matters. The incumbent works under the supervision and in collaboration with the Group CEO and her designated managers who are General Manager, and Financial Controller from Singapore HQ. We are looking for an individual with a passion to work in a multicultural environment.
Job Description
- Handle full spectrum of accounting function and prepare monthly financial reporting.
- Preparation of statutory financial report, handle statutory audit.
- Ensure statutory tax submission on time.
- Perform periodic business performance analysis, establish an efficient management reporting to facilitate budget, forecast and actual performance analysis.
- Implement and maintain the financial/ purchasing guidelines as detailed in the company’s policies and procedures.
- Support HR functions such as payroll, employee lifecycle including but not limited to new hires, changes to terms and conditions, transfers and exit management recruitment.
- Ensure that contractual commitments (e.g. lease, contract and license) are expressed in forms appropriate for the circumstances.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the company from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ business administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with UAE financial system requirements, employment laws, tax withholding requirements, and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Good knowledge of ERP Systems preferably Navision.
- Ability to work effectively and accurately on multiple tasks and manage own deadlines.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
