Design & Estimation Engineer

Description:

Over 3+ years of experience in Steel Structure Fabrication and Erection field.
Skilled in steel structure erection of heavy structural works like Steel plant project, Steel shed, Cladding support steel structures, Roof structures, Shopping Malls, Multi utility buildings structures, Steel canopies, Staircase, Platform, Panoramic lift, Ladders, Handrails, Fins, Mezzanine floor etc.

Responsibilities:

· 1)10+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer in a fabrication environment

· 2)Bachelor of Science Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program

· 3)Proficient in Revit AutoCAD RAM Structural System and Microsoft Office Suite

· 4)Experience in Risa 2D, Risa 3D, SAP 2000

Additional Desired Qualifications:

· 1)S.E. preferred but not required

· 2)10+ years of experience in the structural analysis and design of structural projects preferred

· 3)Experience in ETABS, is preferred but not required

Responsibilities will primarily include but are not limited to the following:

· 1) Performing structural analysis and engaging in the design of steel and/or transportation structures for both new construction and rehabilitation

· 2) Preparing technical/design reports and calculations packages

· 3) Preparing construction drawings and specifications

· 4) Attending design meetings and site inspections with our clients, subconsultants, and partners on an as- needed basis

· 5) Interacting and collaborating with our in-house drafters and other engineers

· 6) Designing various structures and producing contract documents for various building types, Columns, Trusses, Beams, Handrails, Platforms etc

7) Verify the engineering drawings for the correct interpretation of the design details.

• 8) To make spread sheets for the repetitive calculation and validate with a manual calculation.
