The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our next generation websites and web tools. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new innovations and projects.
Responsibilities
- Revise, edit, proofread & optimize web content
- Develop software solutions to meet customer needs
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration
- Work cross-functionally to enhance overall user experience of our platforms
- Own various design tasks involved in the web development life cycle from start to finish
- Analyze current applications’ effectiveness and develop strategies for improvement
- Gather and document business requirements and convert into functional specifications
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in the testing of new software or modified applications
- Develop and Install software solutions from the development to the production environment
- Participate in systems maintenance and upgrades of existing enterprise applications
- Perform problem identification, categorization, prioritization, diagnosis, and resolution
- Operates with a continuous improvement mentality
- Flexible and willing to work on various applications, solutions and projects
- Ability to adjust working schedule when project demands or system issues arise
- Adheres to software development policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment while maintaining superior customer service
- Provide daily technical support for business and integrated applications. This will include the daily support of business users as well as peers within the IT department
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
- 5+ years' of experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in server-side technology (Java, PHP, NodeJS, Python, Ruby)
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Expert PrestaShop and Magento
- Experience in Shopify & WordPress Web & eCommerce development is a plus
