Your new role:

Following a strong year-on-year growth within multiple verticals and departments, our finance division now requires a commercially astute Finance Director to strategize, analyze and continue to develop the Finance arm of the business as well as add value by strong business partnering to the board of Directors, a senior leadership team of the wider business.

Duties include:

• Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department
• Set the annual financial strategy
• Assist in company-wide budgetary planning
• Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation
• Analyze the financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future and submit business proposals to senior management.
• Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed
• Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
• Manage a team of financial professionals and other employees in the facilitation of day-to-day operations, including tracking financial data, invoicing, payroll, inventory, and procurement. etc.
• Prepare official reports on a monthly and annual basis
• Seek out methods and practices to minimize financial risk
• Contract auditing services to ensure financial monitoring is up to date
• Create and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions and accountants
• Design and implement financial policies and procedures
• Conduct business and variance analysis, and risk management including internal audit and fraud control practices.
• Manage the cash flow, analyze the revenue plans and work on maximizing the company’s profit.
• Financial planning and analysis of current and new revenue streams

What you need to succeed:

The ideal candidate does not require a background within the Real Estate sector, what they do require is a background in driving efficiencies, performance, and structure of a Finance team with strong commercial awareness. A CPA/CMA/CIMA/ACCA qualification is ideal although Finance Directors who are QBE will also be considered. You must have the ability to make key decisions effectively and be knowledgeable in financial forecasting, accounting principles, and financial data analysis. Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to prioritize and delegate responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
