Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and disciplined Finance Executive who will be responsible for Millennial Beauty’s internal financial reporting functions spread across all contracted portfolio and partner companies. The ideal candidate should have had a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Update accounts payable, reconcile invoices to PO’s, negotiate payment terms with suppliers and facilitate payments in line with company policy
- Prepare, issue and keep track of PDCs, cheques and payment vouchers in accordance to key contractual terms
- Update accounts receivable, perform aging and follow up with clients on a timely basis
- Assist the HR team with payroll, gratuity and sales commission
- Arrange cash reconciliations and collection with driver from retail stores
- Prepare and submit internal reports on a weekly/monthly basis to management and the external accounting service provider. Reports include but are not limited to sales, inventory, COGS, payroll, expenses, payables, receivables trackers.
- Liaise with the external accounting services provider on the general bookkeeping for portfolio companies and assume the primary point of contact to resolve queries and discrepancies
- Assist the Investments team with performing budget vs actuals
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of accounting and financial management experience
- Strong customer service, management and communication skills
- Strong understanding of IFRS and ability to clearly document and communicate accounting and reporting issues to finance and non-finance personnel
- Be a strong communicator and possess an ability to develop trusting and credible relationships at all levels of the business across various teams
- Disciplined time management and prioritization; should have the ability to establish the urgency of tasks and multi-task under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
