Junior Graphic Designer

Engel & Völkers is currently looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our strong team in Dubai. Our ideal candidate would have hands on experience in Adobe Creative Cloud. This position will also give support to other marketing functions such as online marketing, social media, etc.

We are looking for a strong minded energetic person to fit in with our fast paced, upbeat environment. A person that has a strong desire to learn and grow professionally. Whilst this role role will be on a temporary contract, there is the opportunity for it to be extended into a full time opportunity. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with all design projects from conception to delivery.
• Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics.
• Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software.
• Apply typography techniques.
• Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services.
• Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects.
• Liaise with marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools.
• Assist overall Marketing functions when needed.

Requirements / Skills / Experience:

• BSc degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant field.
• 1 year work experience is preferred.
• Strong English communication skills is essential, design portfolio would be needed.
• Portfolio of completed design projects.
• Hands-on experiences with image editing software Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier).
• Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts
• Attention to visual details.
• Ability to work under pressure with challenging deadlines, multiple stakeholders and opinions.
• Creative thinking, being innovative, ideas in developing a website.
