The Firm now has an opportunity for a Junior Associate (Legal) to join its leading prestigious Disputes team in Dubai.

Job Requirements:

• NQ - 5 PQE obtained in a comparable environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a common law jurisdiction.
• Very high fluency in the English language. Good Arabic language proficiency is also required.
• Commercial awareness and willingness to learn.
• High standard of client care for existing clients at the highest level.
• Clear understanding of the operation and structure of a top law firm.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities, which mainly include:

• Researching laws, statutes, regulations, and case law to prepare for court proceedings;
• Drafting legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and pleadings in accordance with applicable rules of procedure or evidence;
• Drafting settlement agreements.
• Preparing legal documents for filing with courts or administrative authorities.
• Reviewing documents for legal sufficiency and helping draft responses to discovery requests from opposing counsel.
• Communicating and liaising with clients regarding all of the above.

The associate will be working under the supervision of one or more senior lawyers / partners.
