The Marketing team is part of Parfums Christian Dior Emirates, based in Dubai, and ensures the international innovations plan is implemented in the UAE market.
As Marketing Coordinator, you will be assisting the Senior Marketing Executive and contribute to the implementation of the UAE marketing strategy.
Your Main Assignments Will Be Focused On
New launches and on-counters events
- Events: Lead, plan and implement event strategy for Dior in the UAE bringing retailtainment to the stores. From developing the event concept to its full execution: supplier selection and briefing, production follow-up, order marketing elements, participation in the event when relevant, collect event feedback and prepare reports.
- Marketing tools: manage and coordinate with involved parties the production of marketing materials such as leaflets, visuals, editions. Update the point-of-sale service tools when necessary.
- Launch feedback: send feedbacks to the region regarding new launches, regional animations, HPP, key events, etc. Present information during internal meetings.
- Logistic: Work hand in hand with supply chain for monthly analysis of the past launches, rectify actions and weekly monitor new launches stock.
- Visit market regularly to monitor competition activity
e-Business
- Develop e-Business across all e-retailers: negotiate and book e-trade slots, emailers, prepare the assets, manage assortment and e-merchandising. Negotiate and book social media support when relevant
- Develop e-Business on Dior e-platform: manage online assortment (new launches and discontinuations), constantly check available stock, manage and source for developing client experience
Forecasts and Budgets
- Forecast the novelties (sales products and POSM) and basic POSM (art of gifting, gifts, blotters, etc.) Ensure dispatch of the forecasted references as per agreed launch and trade marketing plan. Monitor POSM forecasts versus the approved budgets
- Prepare the yearly budget of the on-counter events plan, track the expenses and ensure the budget is respected
- POs : raise and follow-up of POs to the suppliers, follow-up on payments
Retailers and mall relations
- Focus on developing mall relations to negotiate client recruitment and visibility tools such as mono brand newsletter, website focus, emailer, sms, digital screens
- Present the innovations plan to local retailers, prepare presentations of the animation and events for monthly meetings and update sell-out figures for each retailer
Profile
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Marketing position
- Proficient user of the MS Office packoffice
- Fluent in English, French and Arabic is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Creative, innovative thinking and pro-active attitude
- Rigorous with strong project management skills
- Adaptable and diligent: high priority on accuracy and adherence to timeframes
