Mechanical Engineer

Description:

The Mechanical Engineer shall assist the Engineering & Maintenance Manager in carrying out the maintenance function for Fujairah Oil Terminal, including but not limited to performing various tasks related to general maintenance, repair of the mechanical equipment and responding to breakdown to ensure minimum interruption to operational activities.

The ideal candidate should hold a Mechanical Engineering degree / diploma with a minimum of 10 years’ hands on experience, 5 of which should be in a Petrochemical Terminal. He must have knowledge of maintenance and safety practices and procedures related to oil storage terminals. He shall be required to plan, schedule and implement preventive maintenance programs effectively, read and interpret technical drawings related to mechanical engineering accurately and have ability to troubleshoot and identify issues/concerns related to mechanical engineering. He must be proficient in MS Office packages and quality management systems, possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills in English and be able to prepare reports as required.
