Scholars International Academy (SIA) is one of only two schools in Sharjah accredited by British Schools Overseas as well as a High Performance Learning school. Job description / Role:
. Always maintain a welcoming atmosphere at the front office.
. Answer all incoming calls, transfer to appropriate desks, take messages and pass it to concerned.
. Greet and assist parents, staff, and visitors. To ensure that no one is unattended.
. Attend to each new admission enquiry with equal dedication.
· Handle all existing parent enquiries/queries on a daily basis via emails, phone calls, direct/face to face meetings, Zoom meetings and conversations.
· Maintain the SIA parent profile information i.e., list of class parents and check in with them regularly.
· Update Mograsys to support new and existing parents (any changes with parent emails, contact details, student withdrawal).
· Maintain a database of student information (withdrawals/TC list etc.).
· Connect with existing parents on information of possible upsets and leaving school. Maintain data on parents who are leaving school or contemplating leaving school. Share parent feedback as and when required.
· Liaise with class parents for the ECA by working closely with the academic team.
· Support new joining families with their queries and requests to ensure smooth transition.
· Identify and anticipate the needs and requirements of new and existing parents.
· Work closely with Principal, SLT, Teachers and Specialist teachers with regular updates about the children/families at school with a focus on student retention.
· Work closely/communicate with the Principal /SLT, and teachers to address parental concerns/responses and queries of new and existing parents throughout the year.
· Make first contact at school tours and support Admissions with school tours to obtain maximum admissions. Assist Admissions manager with inquiring parents through their child’s admissions and enrollment process as needed.
· Connect existing parents and new parents when needed.
· Confirm tours with parents by phone.
· Follow up with potential parents post the tours and assist them through the admissions and enrollment process. Advise them on the program offered, class schedules, admissions procedures and policies, eligibility and costs involved.
· Work closely with the bus transport manager to manage the parent relationship and transport issues.
· Report to teachers any messages that have come in over email or by phone regarding student absences or late arrival.
