Job Description

We're looking for a full-stack software engineer to join our small distributed team. You will be working on Backend Payments integrations with Stripe, Paypal, etc. You will not be micro-managed. You will have complete freedom in how you implement product features and carry a ton of responsibility

Qualifications

Must-haves:

• 5 years experience building and scaling resilient products/services and working on production ready scaleable code
• Strong experience with backend payments integrations including experience working with different currencies
• Full stack experience with PHP, SQL and Javascript frameworks
• Deep experience writing code in PHP
• Experience working with APIs at scale
• Comfortable doing front-end tasks if that means seeing project or bug all the way through
• Previous experience of scaling infrastructure to support millions of users
• Excellent English written and oral skills
• BS in Computer Science or related field

Pluses

• Expertise in Laravel
• Experience in Ruby, Go, or Python and other back-end technologies
• Experience with Vue
• Experience contributing to Open Source
