Project Manager - Vmware Cloud

Project manager is accountable for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget for our Client’s Cloud solutions. Project manager responsibility involves: planning and designation of project resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and managing stakeholder expectations and keep them informed the entire way.



Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for Delivering Projects based on Cloud Platforms

2. Responsible of execution on the IT Transformation plan as agreed on the proposal on time and budget

3. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

4. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

5. Coordination with IT Onboarding teams for the cloud delivery and provisioning tasks ensuring resource availability and allocation

6. Coordination of external third parties for the additional IT services or technologies that might be needed

7. Reports the project status and escalates if needed for problem solving

8. Support the business team in presenting the status of the projects

9. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

10. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

11. Perform risk management to minimize project risks

12. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

13. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

14. Apply and utilize appropriate project management methods and best practices to ensure results oriented deliverables in a way that can be industrialised and repeatable in following projects.



Knowledge, Experience & Competencies

· 5-6 years’ experience in Project Management of cloud solutions implementations and Telco experience.

Education Required:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline

Professional Training, Certification or Membership:

· Project Management Certifications (i.e. PMP or Prince) - Mandatory

· Cloud certifications, ITIL service management certification, Technical certification, quality certification - Preferred
