Quantitative Developer

Description:

Our client, a Leading Global Hedge Fund, is seeking an experienced Quantitative Developer to help build out a new quant Cryptocurrency trading team in Dubai. The core focus will be on developing a new platform and tools for multiple systematic strategies from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Creating a trading platform from scratch
• Building components for both live trading and simulation environments
• Maintaining and updating the trading platform by improving its stability and security
• Developing data checking and storage infrastructure
• Troubleshooting and resolving any system-related issues
• Generating tools to help monitor the trading activity

Desirable Candidates:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working on automated trading systems
• Bachelor’s/Masters/Ph.D. in computer science or another relevant quantitative discipline
• Strong Python experience
• Knowledge of API and WebSockets
• Knowledge in database technologies (like Microsoft SQL, Mongo or other NoSQL database)
• Proficiency in GIT
• Ability to design and manage infrastructure components (servers, network bridges)
• High degree of autonomy, must be a self-starter
