Description:

Analyzes, reviews, and implements change to websites so they are optimized for search engines. This means maximizing the traffic to locally created landing pages by improving page rank within search engines across the Middle East, Africa & Turkey.

Have in-depth knowledge of keyword research, understand SEO copywriting, and serve as a liaison between various departments.

SEO / Keyword analysis – validation of central keywords and provision of keyword recommendations for local content. Feedback into Onsite Search platform at CEL.

PPC campaign governance – governance of local agency PPC campaign recommendations, alignment with KPIs & performance tracking.

Search investment efficiency – ensuring the link between local PPC and central/local SEO work to enable reciprocal leveraging & reduce cannibalization.

Retailer / Partner search optimization – provision of expertise to partners to support their own search optimization (SEO & PPC) for Canon products.

PR support - use data reporting to identify what themes & content are resonating locally; ensuring local content is appropriately meeting local search terms & is enabled for the right platforms, eg. wire services, video, etc.; working / networking & outreach with local press, influencers, bloggers, etc to gain backlinks to websites.

What We Ask

• Minimum 5-years’ experience in optimizing web traffic
• Problem solver and decision-maker, with the ability to prioritize and develop relevant and engaging content
• Strong Leadership & relationship management skills.
• Drive and multitasking skills combined with a high level of personal integrity and tact.
• High attention to detail and a concern for accuracy in work.
• Ability to carry out the role within set deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to a high level with individuals at all levels.
• Superior communication in written and spoken English and Turkish (Essential), Arabic, and French is preferred.
• Advanced MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (Essential).
• Knowledge of SEO tools
