Position: Safety Officer (Healthcare)
- Experience: minimum 5 to 6 yrs of experience in Healthcare industry
- Desired qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in the health & Safety / Natural Sciences / NEBOSH certified/IOSH
- Fire and Safety Diploma is an added advantage.
Key responsibilities:
- Knowledge of Reading and Using Safety data sheets of the hazardous materials
- PPEs management and monitoring
- Knowledge of air and water testing within healthcare environment
- Experience in Waste Management practices
- Experience in conducting FMS Committee meetings and taking minutes of the same.
- Knowledge and able to give Fire & Safety Training to the staff
- Conducting audits and inspections
- Experience in Contractor management for fire and safety compliance (Construction and Renovation)
- Knowledge of conducting Risk assessment and HVA in a healthcare set-up.
