Title: Senior Accountant

Location: UAE, Bahrain, or Saudi

Job Description

• Producing financial reports within specific deadlines

• Prepare monthly financial results and quarterly rolling forecasts

• Updating and maintaining the company’s Chart of Accounts and building the Accounting Ledger on the company’s ERP

• Assist on all Audit requirements whenever necessary

• Report on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances (variance analysis and commentaries)

• Produce financial statements including P&L, cash flow, balance sheet and monthly management accounts

• Perform detailed account analysis and corporate month-end processing and reporting

• Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends

• Monitoring the company’s performance using KPIs

• Assist in the preparation of the company's budget

• Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities

• Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management

Requirements

• You hold yourself to a high bar of craftsmanship

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field

• 3+ years of experience

• Should be a self-starter & able to deliver without follow-ups / minimal supervision

• Preferred prior experience in a similar role in a tech company / startups

• Good interpersonal skills and a team player

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines

• Bonus: Experience with building an accounting ledger on an accounting software
