Senior Accountant

Description:

Shipping Accountant required (experienced in a SHIP MANAGEMENT/OWNING COMPANY). The candidate will be reporting to the Financial Controller.

Job Responsibilities

•  Review accountants’ daily work.
• Assist in ERP management.
• Ensure quality of information by third parties.
• Assist in the management reports preparation.
• Participate in the preparation of the financial statements.
• Assist in the Group’s annual external audit and statutory requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

•  Qualified CA/CPA.
• Minimum 5 years experience.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, general database knowledge optional.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Extremely organized with strong multi-tasking and team management skills.
• Hands-on experience with ERP software.
• Work experience in UAE is DESIRED.
