Senior Sales Engineer

Description:

A leading Oil & Gas, Marine, trading company is looking for a Sr. Sales Engineer in Sharjah to generate revenues from existing and new customers.

Job Description:

Job Purpose: To sell Oil & Gas, Marine, Hydraulic & Instrumentation products in UAE and other GCC countries.

Principle Accountability:

1) Sells assigned products to all sectors whether they are private companies, Government Department or individuals.

2) Maintains an excellent technical knowledge about the company products.

3) Finds new prospects through media or by cold calls and try to turn them into clients.

4) Stays in constant touch with the Line Manager for guidance, reviews outstanding quotations, updates on the market and advises improvement of system in order to comply with the quality policy.

5) Gathers information about competitors' products, catalogues, prices, advantages and disadvantages awareness.

6) Acts as a link between client and Service Dept. in order to ensure total customer satisfaction.

7) Follows up on the collection of outstanding payment. In case of any default, reports the case to the Department Head.

8) Convinces the customer post sales to take service/maintenance contract.

9) Submits weekly and monthly, customer visit, inquiry logs and weekly planner and quotation status report to the Line Manager.

10) Attends weekly sales meeting.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years of relevant Sales Experience in Oil and Gas, Marine, Hydraulic & Instrumentation trading companies is expected, however competitive & energetic talent with lesser experience is always appreciated by the management and all the needed support will be provided.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical thinking, articulate personality and ability to work under pressure

• Presentable

• UAE Driving License
