Senior Technical Hse Engineer

 

Description:

We are looking for a Senior Technical HSE Engineer for a company based in the Arabian Gulf region.

 

As Technical HSE Engineer, your experience will be pivotal in making the right decisions during production and at the implementation of new systems.

 

This role will be heavily focused on the engineering services function of the company. You'll be tasked with achieving the technical excellence goals and ensuring the integrity of the work being carried out, whilst considering the main project objectives taking into account safety, time and cost.

 

You'll be working closely with the engineering team, planning and assessing projects and providing expert assistance to the project engineering managers. You'll be supporting the development of newly trained engineers, adding to the diversification of talent within the company, further pushing up company standards and reputation.

 

You'll be well versed on international HSE standards and guidelines. Good communication in English (written and spoken), technical competence and knowledge of relevant software are also required.

 

You’ll need flexibility when it comes to work as projects can be both onshore and offshore.

 

The following characteristics are essential;

 

10 years experience, and at least 6 years experience in Oil & Gas.

Bachelors Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Chemical)

 

Chartered engineer status would be advantageous.

 

You'll also require the following skills;

 

Well-developed initiation, coordination and integration abilities

Experience in working to major international Oil & Gas company design engineering practices, standards, specifications and procedures.

Good general engineering knowledge of all engineering disciplines.

Good judgemental skills.
