Social Media Assistant

We, as Red Spades Agency, are looking for a candidate that loves Marketing and has a genuine passion for Social Media.

The main aspect of the role includes social media content creation and delivery, scheduling, follower and community engagement, and social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

· Management of client’s social media accounts, including the creation of daily posts, stories and community management (responding to queries & comments from followers).

· Monthly reporting on social media performance, learnings & next steps.

· Keeping close to trending social topics and google search trends and working quickly and tactically to build compelling social content to leverage these opportunities.

· Keeping abreast of social media best practices, new tools and techniques to maximize follower growth and engagement.

· Aligning with the overall content calendar owned & managed by the content editor.

. Understanding of social media platforms: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube, Anchor etc…

Desired Skills and Experience

· Fluent in English and confident in writing and editing copy in English. Arabic is a plus.

· Demonstrable experience of managing social media accounts and reporting tools.

· Knowledge and experience with all major social media platforms, the differences between them and the type of content that works and fits on each of them.

· Up to date on digital and social media tools and developments, with a finger on the pulse of current trends.

· Able to work dynamically and flexibly (e.g. when responding to an emerging trend or social media opportunity or to queries/comments on the accounts).
