Technical Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

Key Tasks:
- Supporting the line manager in specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and prospective customers.
- Maintain and/or improve relationships with existing/new clients through regular communication and assist in administrative tasks.
- Trouble shoot and provide necessary training to customers when required and as specified by the line manager.
- Constantly build new client relationships and secure new business opportunities.
- Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets.
- Ensure that all documents related to trouble shooting activities are documented and updated as per company guidelines.
- Meet or exceed own sales performance as specified by the line manager.
Requirements:
- Understanding of Elevator systems (OEM / Modernization - refurbishment of old elevator machines and inverters).
- Hands on experience in elevator mechanical systems and elevator control systems (Specifically: machines and inverters).
- Strong electrical background.
- Technically and commercially sound.
- Good communication skills (reading, writing, speaking – English); Arabic is an added advantage.
- Understanding of the current territorial markets to be able to continually best position ZIEHL-ABEGG.
- Successfully negotiate with clients converting quotes to orders.
- Positive attitude and persuasive.
- Proactive, highly motivated and team player.
- Ability to work with a multifunctional and diverse team and customer base with minimum supervision.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance management systems.
