Travel & Adventure Writer

Description:

Explorer Publishing is looking for an adventurous writer with a passion for the outdoors to join our hardworking production team for a 8 month project.

The right person will be flexible, easy-going and enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and a supportive and accommodating team spirit. You will welcome new challenges and be resourceful, with the initiative, determination and perseverance required to get the job done.

The assignment will include the opportunity to work on an incredibly exciting off-roading project. The right candidate will enjoy off-roading and hiking and will have no issues camping for up to two weeks at a time or being in a vehicle for long, intense periods of time. Several two week-long trips to Saudi Arabia will be required.

Candidates who can speak Arabic (Arabic writing not required) will be prioritised. This position is an initial 8 month project-based assignment, however, there may be an opportunity for the position to be extended or become permanent.

Immediate availability is required.

Position Requirements:

• Fluent, native English speaker with strong written and spoken communication skills
• Conversational Arabic speakers (Arabic writing is not required) are strongly preferred
• Professional manner and great people skills
