Description:

We are hiring Unit Sales Managers for our Direct Sales Force Channels in:

  • Dubai
  • Sharjah
  • Abu Dhabi

 

Summary:

The Unit Manager for the Direct Sales Force is responsible for building, maintaining and growing the DSF distribution channel, will handle recruitment, training, development and monitoring of the DSF team to be in line with the annual strategy and business plan, and has to ensure achievement of the DSF set activities and sales targets as per company annual budget.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adopt and adapt the implementation of the DSF Policy & Procedure and suggest improvements to the DSF channel.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within his team.
  • Monitor the Sales Department’s performance against pre-set KPI’s in line with DSF Strategy and recommend corrective actions accordingly.
  • Recruit the DSF team, as per company recruitment plan and remuneration matrix, the set their objectives, monitor their performance and then create incentive plans accordingly
  • Provide coaching in field visits to ensure they manage, maintain and build solid relationships with their clients.
  • Determine the training needs of the sales agents and ensure that the training is carried out as per DSF Policies & Procedures
  • Track and monitor the sales pipeline to ensure each agent achieves its annual activities and sales targets
  • Prepare a yearly business plan with set targets & strategies for DSF channel and each team member.
  • Monitor and follow up on sales teams' accounts receivables on a monthly basis and take corrective measures
  • Accompany new trainees to selected field visits whenever requested.
  • Implement innovative methods to increase clients’ sales, expand market's reach and promote business in the region.
  • Comply with the required standards of sales excellence and best practice. In addition to group legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with subordinates to follow up on their activities, discuss their suggestions and adopt the appropriate procedures. In addition to, analyze problems and offers & provide the right options and solutions.
  • Evaluate market trends, gather competitive information, and try to customize or implement in the current sales team strategies.
  • Conduct meetings with key customers to ensure strong relationships using the correct tools.
  • Compile and analyze sales figures and prepare on time management reports.
  • Discuss with his superior the sales operations’ and sales staff performance
  • Abide by major credit limits and extensions as per the authority matrix.
  • Oversee Premium collection in coordination with the Accounting/Collection Unit and in line with the company policy.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Insurance of which the last three years in a similar managerial position in the intended country
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field. CII Diploma/Certificate is a plus
  • Fluency in Arabic and English
  • Microsoft Office skills & Good Reporting capabilities
