Description:

The 3D Artist role at Ultratec 3D Printing is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The 3D Artist will design and develop high-quality 3D models for products, prototypes, display pieces, and decorative elements, ready for 3D printing and post-processing. Daily tasks include creating detailed meshes, applying textures, defining lighting setups, and preparing files that meet technical specifications for printing and finishing. The role involves collaborating with engineers, designers, and production teams to refine concepts, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that the final output aligns with client requirements and project timelines. The 3D Artist is also expected to continuously improve workflows, stay current with industry tools and practices, and contribute creative ideas that enhance visual and functional quality.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in 3D Modeling using tools such as Blender, with the ability to create clean, production-ready assets.
• Design for 3D Printing.
• Demonstrated skills in Texturing and Lighting to achieve realistic or stylized visual outcomes suitable for rendering and 3D printing previews.
• Understanding of 3D printing workflows, including mesh optimization, file preparation (e.g., STL, OBJ), and basic knowledge of materials and post-processing.
• Relevant diploma or degree in 3D Design, Animation, Industrial Design, Game Art, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capability to interpret technical and creative briefs.
• Ability to work on-site in Dubai, collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Portfolio showcasing 3D modeling, experience in product visualization or mechanical modeling is a plus.
