Responsibilities for Gypsum Carpenter

Key Responsibilities
 

• Enter equipment repair history and close out work orders
• Initiate ideas and/or modifications to improve equipment reliability and/or safety
• Update repair procedures if needed
• Clean condenser and evaporator coils
• Grease bearings on blower motors
• Ensures that the standards of service excellence and guest satisfaction are met and maintained
• Provide technical assistance to mechanics when requested
• Maintains work schedule for assigned area of responsibility
• Be flexible with regards to working hours
• Ability to work independently and for long hours with little supervision
   

Qualifications
 

• A recognized qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning
• Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance is required
• Inform supervisors of completed and outstanding work orders
• Must have a minimum two (2) years’ experience as an AC technician.
