What Youll Do
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior B2B and B2G financial clients, enhancing relationships and achieving communication objectives.
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive thought leadership strategies, including crafting compelling op-eds and articles.
- Oversee high-level media relations, managing proactive outreach, press conferences, and engaging with top-tier financial journalists.
- Direct "calendar work," strategically positioning clients around financial results announcements and key industry events.
- Provide expert counsel on positioning companies within the relevant global financial and political environments.
- Drive client growth by identifying new opportunities, developing proposals, and expanding existing engagements.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing project environment.
- Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, impactful creative executions that meet and exceed client expectations.
Experience That Contributes To Success
- Proven experience as an Account Director or Senior Account Manager, with significant experience in corporate & financial communications.
- Demonstrable track record in B2B and B2G financial sector communications, including direct engagement with decision-makers.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing strategic thought leadership campaigns.
- Exceptional media relations skills, including a robust network of financial and business journalists and experience managing press conferences.
- Understanding of financial calendar work or an interest in learning (e.g., results reporting, investor relations) and global market positioning.
