Hippo Box Supermarket and Tang town restaurant is looking for an experienced and results-driven Accountant with prior experience in supermarket and restaurant in Dubai. We’re seeking someone who can join immediately and manage comprehensive accounting tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements:

• Can join immediately
• Must have prior supermarket account experience in Dubai
• Open to any nationality
• Proficient in accounting principles and UAE tax compliance
• Salary is negotiable based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process vendor invoices, manage payments, and customer billing
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile daily sales, POS reports, and bank statements
• Inventory Accounting: Monitor stock levels, wastage, and cost of goods sold
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Tax Compliance: Handle VAT and corporate tax filings in line with UAE regulations
• Cash Flow Management: Track daily sales, manage petty cash, and credit customer accounts
• Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors and ensure internal controls
