Guildhall is seeking a proactive Accountant to join a busy international trading and logistics firm in Dubai that specialises in importing and exporting fresh produce and other perishables. The role calls for someone comfortable working in a fast-paced trading environment who can manage daily accounting tasks accurately and meet tight reporting deadlines.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Accounting & Financial Reporting: Hands-on experience preparing periodic financial reports, maintaining ledgers and supporting month-end close activities.
- Accounts Payable / Receivable: Practical experience handling supplier invoice verification, processing payments, and managing receivables.
- Bank Reconciliation: Ability to perform timely bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Industry Experience: Previous exposure to perishable goods trading (fruits / fresh produce) is highly preferred.
- Systems Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ZOHO accounting software and advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
- Personal Skills: Good communication and relationship-building abilities; able to perform accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
