Accountant

Description:

Centurion Group is seeking a skilled Accountant specializing in Bank Reconciliation to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of multiple company accounts while adhering to UAE financial regulations. This role involves close collaboration with internal departments and banking partners, supporting month-end and year-end closings, and assisting in audit preparations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple company accounts
• Identify and investigate discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution
• Record and update all bank-related transactions accurately
• Coordinate with internal departments and external banking partners to clarify unmatched items
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and other relevant financial regulations
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist in audit preparations by providing clear reconciliation reports and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years of UAE-based bank reconciliation experience
• Solid understanding of UAE banking systems, local finance regulations, and reconciliation procedures
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP)
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple accounts and meet tight deadlines independently
