Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Accountant to handle the day-to-day financial tasks for an educational institution. The role requires a candidate who has formal accounting education, practical experience, and the ability to maintain accurate records and support periodic reporting — all while operating from a remote setting.

Requirements:

• Graduate of the Faculty of Commerce, Accounting Department.
• At least 1 year of hands-on accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of core accounting principles and comfortable using accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Able to work autonomously in a remote environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily bookkeeping and keep financial records current and accurate.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements as required by management.
• Ensure transactions and records comply with standard accounting practices.
• Provide support during financial audits by preparing and supplying necessary documentation.
• Perform routine reconciliations and help maintain orderly electronic filing of financial documents.
