We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Accountant (JAFZA)
We’re seeking a detail-focused Accountant with prior hands-on experience working inside the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA). The role combines day-to-day accounting responsibilities with statutory compliance, VAT duties and liaison with auditors and regulators. The position offers up to AED 8,000 per month plus standard UAE benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries and payroll support.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations and management reports in line with JAFZA requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate VAT returns and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Monitor cashflow, assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks and regulatory authorities as required.
• Work closely with internal teams to provide financial documentation and support for operational needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related discipline.
• Prior experience working within JAFZA is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT rules and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise with auditors and external stakeholders.
