Accountant

Description:

An organization in the UAE is urgently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with 1 to 2 years of hands-on accounting experience within the UAE. This role is ideal for candidates who are fluent in Arabic and have a solid understanding of local accounting practices, compliance, and reporting requirements. Priority will be given to applicants holding a self-sponsored visa.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken, is mandatory
• 1–2 years of accounting experience within the UAE only
• Relevant academic background in Accounting or Finance
• Candidates on self-sponsored visas will be given preference

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a complete set of accounts in line with company policies
• Record daily collections and process payments accurately
• Handle monthly closing activities and prepare balance sheet schedules
• Prepare and submit periodic financial reports to management
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements
• Manage VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, filings, and documentation
