Accountant

Description:

A nursery in the UAE is urgently seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant/Admin to join its team. This role combines accounting responsibilities with day-to-day administrative support, ensuring smooth financial operations and effective coordination within the nursery environment. Immediate joiners are highly preferred for this position.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in accounting practices, VAT filing, and the use of accounting software such as Zoho Books. In addition to financial duties, the role also involves administrative coordination, documentation, and communication with parents while supporting the nursery’s daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting functions including financial records, cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, and balance reconciliations
• Handle VAT filing, tax returns, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations
• Maintain accurate accounting records for invoices, receipts, and transactions using Zoho Books
• Perform daily administrative tasks, documentation, and record-keeping
• Coordinate and communicate with parents as required by nursery operations
• Support the nursery manager with daily activities and operational requirements
• Ensure organized filing systems and timely reporting

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience within the UAE
• Strong accounting knowledge with hands-on VAT experience
• Proficiency in Zoho Books and general accounting software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
