Accountant

Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with experience in trading companies to manage daily accounting operations, VAT compliance, and inventory-related financial activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate record-keeping, support financial reporting, and maintain compliance with UAE tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily transactions, invoices, and journal entries accurately
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations regularly
• Oversee inventory accounting and stock reconciliation
• Prepare UAE VAT and tax returns and assist with audits
• Support monthly closing and financial reporting activities
• Maintain up-to-date supplier and customer ledgers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a trading company
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and tax accounting practices
• Experience using Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, or similar accounting software
• Strong Excel skills with excellent attention to detail
