Accountant

Description:

Yateem Group is looking to hire a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong analytical mindset and a solid understanding of financial practices within the UAE market. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, supporting business decisions through analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The position requires a high level of accuracy, organization, and the ability to handle multiple accounting functions efficiently in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and journals

• Record and categorize daily financial transactions such as sales, operational expenses, and payments

• Prepare financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss reports, and Cash Flow statements

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts

• Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual financial performance against budgeted figures

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and potential growth opportunities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections

• Oversee payroll processing, including salary calculations, bonuses, and statutory deductions

• Ensure accurate and timely disbursement of employee salaries

• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with UAE regulations

• Ensure adherence to UAE tax laws, IFRS standards, and internal financial policies

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles

• Knowledge of UAE tax regulations and IFRS standards is highly desirable

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial management

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and organizational skills
