Accountant

Description:

Peak Consultancy is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with strong financial expertise, excellent analytical abilities, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards.

The selected candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, managing reconciliations, and supporting VAT compliance. The company is seeking a motivated individual who can work efficiently in a professional environment and contribute to the organization’s financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions.

• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.

• Monitor and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Assist with VAT compliance and other statutory reporting requirements.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Relevant accounting experience, with UAE experience preferred.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Financial reporting, bookkeeping, and account reconciliations.

• Accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• VAT compliance, statutory requirements, and financial documentation.
