Lava Casa is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to become a valued member of its full-time team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced finance professional who is passionate about maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to the company’s continued growth.

The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting activities, prepare financial reports, manage taxation requirements, and maintain organized financial records. The role requires excellent analytical abilities, proficiency with accounting software, and a solid understanding of UAE financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions.

• Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation.

• Handle UAE VAT and Corporate Tax calculations, filings, and regulatory compliance.

• Maintain accounting records and process transactions using Zoho Accounting.

• Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Perform bank reconciliations and support month-end closing activities.

• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and financial regulations.

• Assist during internal and external audits by maintaining accurate financial documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience.

• Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax requirements.

• Experience with financial reporting, bookkeeping, and account reconciliations.

• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate financial records.

• Hands-on experience using Zoho Accounting systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Strong knowledge of:

• UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.

• Financial reporting, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.

• Zoho Accounting, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.
