Accountant

Description:

A well-established company in Dubai is seeking a Smart and Qualified Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong UAE accounting experience with expertise in general accounting, financial finalization, banking activities, and VAT-related processes.

The successful candidate will manage accounting operations, support financial reporting, and handle trade finance-related transactions. Candidates with knowledge of LC, TR, DA, and DP transactions along with ERP systems will be preferred. Immediate joiners currently based in the UAE are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting activities including general accounting and financial transactions.

• Handle accounting processes from recording entries to finalization of accounts.

• Perform bank reconciliations and support banking-related activities.

• Manage VAT-related accounting requirements and documentation.

• Record and process LC, TR, DA, and DP transactions accurately in the accounting system.

• Support trade finance, working capital, and asset-related accounting activities.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth finance operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–4 years of UAE experience in Accounts & Finance is mandatory.

• Qualified Accountant with CA, CA Inter, CPA, or M.Com qualification.

• Strong experience in general accounting, finalization, banking, and VAT.

• Knowledge of trade finance, working capital, and asset management is preferred.

• Experience handling LC (Letter of Credit), TR (Trust Receipt), DA (Documents Against Acceptance), and DP (Documents Against Payment) transactions is an advantage.

• Ability to record trade finance transactions accurately in accounting systems.

• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP software.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is preferred but not mandatory.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• Immediate availability and no notice period required.

Strong knowledge of:

• General accounting, financial reporting, VAT, and account finalization.

• Trade finance transactions including LC, TR, DA, and DP.

• ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and accounting software.
