Accountant

Description:

Intercare is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team. This opportunity is suitable for accounting professionals with experience in financial operations, reporting, and inventory-related accounting activities, particularly within trading or manufacturing environments.

The successful candidate will manage accounting processes, support financial reporting, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting systems are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial records.

• Handle purchase costing, inventory accounting, and stock reconciliation activities.

• Prepare and support financial reports in line with company requirements.

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial reporting regulations.

• Review accounting data and identify discrepancies for timely resolution.

• Support month-end and regular accounting procedures.

• Maintain accurate documentation for financial transactions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in trading or manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger, purchase costing, inventory accounting, and stock reconciliation.

• Knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial reporting requirements.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and Orion ERP.

• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Strong knowledge of:

• General accounting principles and financial reporting

• Inventory accounting and reconciliation processes

• UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and ERP-based accounting systems
