Description:

A growing business operating across the UAE and Turkey is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee finance, accounting, audit, and taxation activities across both markets. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain international exposure while supporting cross-border financial operations through regular business travel to Turkey, with all travel expenses fully covered.

The ideal candidate will have solid UAE accounting experience, a strong understanding of VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, and excellent communication skills in Arabic, Turkish, and English. Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of up to one month are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closing.

• Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses.

• Support internal audit activities and coordinate with external auditors.

• Collaborate with the Turkey finance team and external tax advisors on cross-border accounting and tax matters.

• Travel regularly to Turkey to support local finance operations and business requirements.

• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and taxation regulations.

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of accounting experience in Dubai or the UAE.

• Previous experience in internal or external auditing.

• Hands-on experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.

• Fluency in Arabic and Turkish is mandatory, along with strong English communication skills.

• Willingness to travel frequently to Turkey.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Experience with the Turkish tax system or accounting practices is an advantage.

• ACCA, CMA, CPA, or a similar professional qualification in progress or completed is preferred.

• Experience using ERP systems such as Zoho, Odoo, SAP, Tally, or similar platforms is desirable.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Financial accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting

• UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, auditing, and cross-border finance

• ERP systems, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes
