Accountant

Description:

A manufacturing company in Dubai is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate should have solid UAE accounting experience, hands-on knowledge of Odoo ERP, and a strong understanding of financial operations within the manufacturing sector.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures. Candidates with inventory accounting experience and a valid UAE driving license are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), invoicing, payments, and receipts.

• Process financial transactions using Odoo ERP.

• Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.

• Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.

• Manage inventory-related accounting transactions and support BOM preparation.

• Support internal and external audits while maintaining proper financial documentation.

• Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and applicable UAE requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.

• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is mandatory.

• Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.

• Experience in Inventory Management and BOM Preparation.

• Good knowledge of general accounting, bookkeeping, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and reconciliations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of:

    • Odoo ERP and accounting processes.

    • Inventory Management and BOM Preparation.

    • Financial reporting, reconciliations, and bookkeeping.
