Accountant

Description:

Provident Estate is looking for a skilled Accountant to become part of its Finance Department. The successful candidate will oversee the complete accounts payable process, ensuring vendor, broker, and supplier payments are processed accurately and within required timelines.

This position is best suited for a finance professional with hands-on experience in a real estate brokerage environment. The role requires a strong understanding of brokerage commission structures, payment cycles, UAE VAT compliance, and the ability to manage financial transactions efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete accounts payable process from invoice verification to payment execution.

• Process payments accurately for vendors, brokers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

• Reconcile financial records and ensure payment accuracy.

• Maintain compliance with UAE VAT regulations and company financial policies.

• Coordinate with sales, brokerage, finance teams, and external vendors to resolve payment-related matters.

• Support financial reporting while maintaining accurate accounting records.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a real estate brokerage is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of brokerage commission structures, agent payouts, and developer or landlord payment cycles.

• Good knowledge of UAE VAT compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in accounting or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar platforms.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Excellent attention to detail with strong reconciliation abilities.

• Effective communication skills to work with internal departments and external stakeholders.

• Ability to perform efficiently under tight deadlines in a high-volume transaction environment.

• Must be immediately available to join.
