Accountant

Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and examine financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting standards.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and documentation of transactions.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including accurate coding and timely payments.
Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, analyzing variances and providing insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Assist in the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory compliance requirements.
Monitor and analyze financial performance indicators, highlighting trends and recommending actions.
Contribute to process improvements within the finance department, implementing best practices.
Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and industry practices.
