Description:
The ideal candidate will assist in all areas of Construction Financial and accounting Management.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with different departments within the Group to ensure smooth financial operations
- Preparation of financial statements and analysis, Budgets, Cost reports and to assist in the evaluation of business initiatives, new services and programs (Analysis includes pricing, cost- benefit analysis, forecasting and expense analysis etc.)
- Co-coordinating and negotiating with Banks for Facilities, Account opening, Discounting, Letter of Credit, Trust Receipts, Bank Guarantee, Performance Bond, Cheque and L/C discounting etc.
- Preparing insightful reporting and analysis to support management decision making, and identify any anomalies to the company business unit budget.
- Preparing the Yearly budgeting and Reports.
- Presenting the Monthly financial results for assigned business unites to senior Management, ensuring commercial risks and opportunities are highlighted.
- Knowledge in UAE and Standard taxes and regulations (VAT & Income tax).
- Overseeing daily accounting activities under assigned business unites
- Ensuring adherence to the Monthly Reporting timetable, communicating required information to ensure that results are reported appropriately and accurately on a timely basis.
- Attending to audit and ad hoc queries.
- E-Filling VAT Calculations & VAT Returns
Qualifications
- A Qualified Accounts Master Degree holder or equivalent.
- 8 -10 years of experience in a Construction & Real Estate Development finance role.
- Experience of using Quickbooks highly desirable for this role.
- Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline.
- Experience of working with the commercial teams and other business units.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
