Responsibilities
- Oversee month end closing and preparation of financial reports in line with the Uniform System of Accounts (10th Edition) and hotel policies.
- Ensure accuracy of General Ledger, P&L, and bank reconciliations while meeting all corporate reporting deadlines.
- Review and approve financial documents including invoices, expense reports, and vouchers ensuring compliance and proper authorization.
- Supervise payroll processing ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
- Maintain effective internal controls, safeguard assets, and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Lead and train the finance team while overseeing financial systems (Sun System, Payroll, FBM) and record management.
Requirements
- Strong background in Finance and Accounting with solid technical knowledge and understanding of core accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience in auditing, financial reporting, and internal controls, preferably within hospitality or service industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are an advantage.
- Proficient in ERP and hotel accounting systems like Opera or Sun Systems, with strong analytical and leadership skills.
