Role Overview
Mercure Advantage Advisory LLC is looking for a highly skilled Accounts Manager to oversee the firm’s financial management, accounting operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of UAE tax laws, financial reporting standards, and strategic financial planning to support business growth and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of accountants.
- Set clear goals and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence.
Financial Operations Oversight
- Supervise all accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and monthly closings.
- Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS and UAE standards.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decisions.
Taxation & Compliance
- Oversee VAT filings, corporate tax submissions, and other statutory requirements under UAE FTA regulations.
- Identify and mitigate tax and compliance risks for clients and the firm.
- Stay updated on evolving tax laws and ensure accurate implementation.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing expert financial advice.
- Develop long-term, trust-based client relationships.
- Deliver customized financial and tax solutions aligned with client goals.
Process Improvement & Internal Controls
- Assess current financial systems and recommend improvements.
- Strengthen internal controls, automation, and compliance frameworks.
- Enhance efficiency, transparency, and accuracy in all financial operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of accounting or financial management experience, with UAE experience required.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
- Expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
