American Gulf School is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to become part of its dynamic finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory financial standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Handle general accounting duties, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions in coordination with other departments.
• Support in auditing activities and ensure accuracy in all financial documentation.
• Collaborate with the school’s administrative team to manage budgets and expense tracking.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure all financial processes align with company policies.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in the education sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently within a team and meet deadlines.
• Bilingual candidates (English & Arabic) will be given preference.
