Gulf Marine Services (GMS) is hiring!
Position – Accounts Payable Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations and be the main contact person for the Accounts Payable Department
- Manage the team to ensure that invoices are recorded timely and accurately
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure that issues with the purchase orders, invoices and payments are resolved
- Plan and allocate resources effectively
- Providing analytical support on the accrual process and calculations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable with at least two years of experience in managing a team
- Bachelor’s (or Master’s) Degree related to Accounting, Business or Finance
- Good communication and leadership skills and proactive in resolving issues
- Ensure all monthly closing activities are performed correctly and according to agreed deadlines
- Bi-lingual – English and Arabic
- Experience in using SAGE X3 an advantage
- Preferably, someone who can join immediately
- CPA or other qualification not requiredv
