Accounts Receivable Executive

Description:

We are urgently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable cum Accounts Receivable Executive to join the finance team of a reputable 4-star hotel in Dubai. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a hospitality environment, managing day-to-day cash and billing activities, and using hotel-specific back-office systems.

Job Summary:
You will oversee both accounts payable and receivable operations, manage daily cash collections and deposits, prepare ageing reports for management, and liaise with internal departments and external parties to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies. Familiarity with hotel regulatory requirements is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately and on time.
• Handle daily cash collections, ensure timely bank deposits and maintain proper supporting documentation.
• Prepare and submit Daily Ageing reports to the Finance Manager.
• Reconcile departmental accounts and work with operations, front office and F&B teams to resolve variances.
• Ensure compliance with DTCM and Municipality processes and reporting where applicable.
• Follow up with vendors and clients on billing, outstanding payments and collections.
• Assist with audit requests and maintain clear, auditable financial records.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in a hotel or hospitality finance environment.
• Proficiency in the required hotel software systems (Wish Net Front Office, Prologic Back Office ERP, Touche F&B, Pay Trax Attendance).
• Practical experience in cash handling and deposit management.
• Good knowledge of DTCM and local municipality procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
