Description:
We are seeking an experienced AI Scrum Master to lead agile delivery for AI‑driven initiatives within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will bring strong Scrum mastery combined with a solid understanding of AI, data, and digital transformation projects, ensuring timely, compliant, and high‑quality delivery in a regulated environment.
You will work closely with data scientists, AI engineers, product owners, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders to enable agile execution while adhering to banking, security, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Scrum Master for AI, AI/ML, data analytics, and automation initiatives within the bank.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach cross‑functional teams on Agile and Scrum best practices, with specific focus on AI project lifecycle challenges.
- Remove impediments and proactively manage risks related to AI model development, data availability, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure well‑defined, prioritized backlogs aligned with business and regulatory needs.
- Support teams in integrating AI governance, model risk management, data privacy, and information security requirements into agile delivery.
- Track and report on sprint progress, KPIs, velocity, and delivery metrics to senior stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or equivalent Agile certification.
- 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with hands‑on experience in AI, data, or advanced analytics projects.
- Experience working in banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (model development lifecycle, data pipelines, MLOps – conceptual understanding required).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
